If we RS anyone it will be at the SG position where we are loaded.
Yeah, but I'm gathering you're not counting A-Dub?He IS a starter.
Granted, he's a freshman, but JP seemed to "disappear" just as AT would last year for the few minutes he played. AT seemed to have a little more fire in him. Also, what is the deal with Prosser? He's every bit as good as Sticks.
I figure he was resting some of the players. Clearly he didn't want any to hit 25+ minutes (look at the boxscore, there's probably 5 or 6 guys with 23 or 24 minutes. No one with more. We weren't concerned with "winning" or running up the score... so why keep TB in?Finally, is Taylor in the doghouse again? He didn't play the last 10 or so minutes and I just couldn't figure out why.
By far the two that distinguished themselves from everyone else were Andrew and Taylor. They should be stone cold lead pipe LOCKS as starters on Friday.

The only thing I will say about this is that its really hard to stay focused and not "disappear" as you so put it when your main two PG's don't ever get the ball into the post.
Those two could learn a LOT from DSE.
I disagree. They're doing what they're told, and are both better than DSE at just about everything at this point. Not throwing the ball inside has been a staple of the Les regime and likely will continue to be whether DSE is playing or not.
And makes for a complete waste of Will's talent.
We didn't have a capable inside presence last year, but now that we have it, don't you think we should use it to our advantage?
I definitely do, I just don't think DSE is some transcendent point guard who knows how to do that more than the other two. I said in another post that I want us to go inside more to WE and even AT. A LOT more!
I can't really agree w/ you though because I fully believe DSE could be a POY by his Junior year here...just needs to be put in the right situations.
He is by far more talented than either the other guards were when they first came in to Bradley and had better numbers than Ruff did in high school and when he first came in.
I have very high expectations for the kid, and I'm sure he has some for himself, thus why he was recruited by BCS schools.
McCain would be a senior, but would not every other guard be gone?Wow...that's pretty lofty expectations. I think if he's a starter by the time he's a junior that would be an accomplishment, he's got some pretty good players that are in front of him.

I hate to burst your bubble but take a look at what someone has indicated JL said on the WMBD radio broadcast about the post position. I'm hoping the statement was taken out of context or JL does some backpedaling from that position. We need a solid post presence to open things up for everyone else.
My bubble isn't burst. The proof is in the pudding. It would be a change if we started going inside, and it's a change I am not expecting.
But like I said, NOW we have the players to do it that we haven't had since 06.
Why not move it in and out?
