Brown leaving ?

So we only have 1 assistant coach who has any connection to the current players. Not great. More than a little concerned about being a cohesive unit by November.

Wardle is still around. He's the glue that will hold the team together. The new AC's will gradually grow into their roles at BU. This isn't the first rodeo for any of them. Nothing to worry about.

Yes. I trust BW. I am hearing these new assistants are extremely hard working, knowledgeable guys, and likely they are eager to prove their value as coaches and recruiters. I'm confident we'll see more results soon.

My question is....why all the silence on DB?
Fans have a right to know when a former favorite player and Top 10 scorer is not longer on the staff...why all the secrecy?

he's prob still negotiating - in almost every business, people don't generally talk when their in confidential negotiations.
Could be that there's still a chance he'd stay at BU.

Who can we get to replace DB? Ruffin would be a good choice, but he’s already doing his own HC job. How about bringing Duke back? JaShon would be a great choice if we’re not looking for a guard to train the boys. Heck, maybe even Nate Kennell? This is all assuming we’d be looking at ex-players to fill this role.

I like all the guys you suggested.
I don't know if he'd be interested, since he has a pretty good job, but A.J. Guyton would also be a great guy to get on staff, maybe as an extra assistant coach. He's not really a Bradley guy, but then neither are Bobby Suarez or Allan Hanson. He know basketball as well as anyone and is successful at whatever he does.

Guyton? I like it! Does Chris Reynolds know him? They didn’t play together, did they?

What do you mean? A.J. spent 1 year at Northwestern in a non-coaching position (Director of Player Development), and left a year later to take an assistant coaching job at Loyola (MD).
