Another new name...
D1 portal- Xander Alarie- 6'8" redshirt-freshman forward at Northeastern University in Boston. Attended Miami University in 2024-25, but redshirted and did not play. Transferred to Northeastern U. a year ago and was a starter for the first 11 games of the 2025-26 season, but then missed the rest of the season with a shoulder injury that required surgery. In the 11 games he played, he averaged 10.3 ppg and 7.4 rpg. He is from Bethesda, MD.

I think going for the 6'8" athletic guys is a better path than one or two 6'11" or 7'0" true centers. Anyone that height at the mid major level is either a project or has already hit their ceiling. With the current state of college basketball we don't need to invest in many projects, get guys who have some proven production.Another 6'8" FW? Cool hair btw! This kid has some size at 235 lbs.
We ARE getting some guys who can play, including this guy it seems...fwiw N'eastern was horrible last season.
Solid rebounding numbers for a Freshman at the very least. Another potential contributor who'll be competing for minutes.
Seems like we may not rely much on a Center next season? This is our 4th guy who is 6'8" and 3 of them are well-built. Maybe that's all we need if they can defend & rebound.
