Support, be it from the school or fans or elsewhere, is vital in college athletics.
Financial support (at least equal to peers) is the foundation for a program. BU WBB does not have that.
They are not able to recruit or travel nearly as much as their peers. That puts them at a huge disadvantage, competitively.

You're competing in a 1/4 mile drag races against Ferraris, Mustangs, Cameros, Audi TTs, Chevy Malibus and Honda Civics.
