Saint Louis beats Nebraska 79-74 (Exhibition)in case anyone is interested
Bradley's first exhibition is against Saint Louis
but Saint Louis plays an exhibition Friday vs Nebraska - and if you want to watch, it is streamed free ----> HERE
and also carried on Big Ten Network - at 7pm
I figuredNone at all
It is a silly account of a pathological Bradley hater
Just check the other childish BS he posts
Avila should give it up and go overseas if he wants to play again. These NCAA schools need to abide by the new rules period.Saint Louis beats Nebraska 79-74 (Exhibition)
Saint Louis looks very much like they did last year, but Avila did not play - awaiting ruling on eligibility. His lawyers today appealed
to have the case returned to the state courts- since they see many recent cases in the federal courts have gone the NCAA's way.
The Billikens are tall, their guards are athletic & they shoot the 3-pointer well. Most of their minutes are played by their big wing guys.
But we are bigger in the guards this year so I think we will match up better than we did last year.
As for what their weaknesses may be, it was just one game, but they did have a lot of sloppy turnovers by starting guards, and without Avila,
they don't appear to have a lot of inside scoring. Even their big guy at 6-11 (Kerr) never even took a shot in the paint.
They also fouled a lot (27 total fouls sending Nebraska to the FT line 28 times.)
Their scoring leaders in this game were McCottry (11 pts), Thames (11 pts), Green (9 pts on 3-5 3-pointers), and Laczkowski 8 pts),
Jones & Hutson - both had 7 pts.
ALL of those guys are BIG guards (6-5 to 6-8) except Green (6-0 guard) who is their designated 3-pt guy.
The only big guy who did anything at all was 6-11 Jax Kerr (6 pt & 9 reb), but all six of his shots were 3 pt attempts and he made two.
So, I am very optimistic we can battle them both on the perimeter and down low. Go Braves - we play them two weeks from tonight.
Is this EXB streaming on anything?Bradley's next opponent will be Saint Louis in an exhibition next Friday (Oct. 23), but Saint Louis
has a "closed scrimmage at Iowa tomorrow night - and both coaches have said there would be a fair amount of transparency."
Some quotes from premium coverage sources:
"Iowa head coach Ben McCollum had said the scrimmage would be "a 30 min game with main guys and then 20 mins with the others.""
"Rarely will you find two coaches sharing so much information about their teams with each other the way Josh Schertz and Ben McCollum planned to do this week.
But the SLU and Iowa coaches agreed to a pretty high level of transparency before facing each other in a scrimmage Saturday at Chaifetz Arena."
"Illinois State transfer Ty'Reek Coleman is demonstrating exponential improvement and adjusting well with the Hawkeyes
...
Coleman is ready to take the next step, landing at what he considered the perfect spot for him at Iowa."
(Hmm... sounds like Coleman was just using ISU as a stepping stone...)
Then this... which I can not confirm but - here is the seating chart - 70% of seats are sold -- LINK
".... a pair of tickets (for the Saint Louis exhibition vs Bradley) ... rose to $144. And SLU seems to be implementing some game specific pricing because later they rise to $184.
.... only 2750 tickets seem to be left for the EXHIBITION game ..."
No. The NCAA has no rule against streaming exhibition games, but it seems they rarely are.Is this EXB streaming on anything?
