Bradley shooting stats

With Saturday’s 13-29 shooting performance from the arc, Bradley’s season 3-pt pct rises to 39.93%, back into 1st place in DI.
Villanova, currently at 39.80%, and Houston, currently at 39.61% can still take over the lead if we have a bad game- but we saw Saturday how valuable good 3-point shooting is!

Well we gotta shoot 40% or higher on Tues. to keep that spot as the leaders!

Imagine if BU ends up with 30 wins and the #1 3-pt shooting team in the nation! Pretty sweet stuff!

Current NCAA stats
Bradley back at #1 but all three of the top teams are still playing.
But I want wins more than stats!!!

The national 3-point FG% shooting stats are really close. There are 4 teams within 0.1% of each other, and 5 teams within 0.2% of each other - https://www.espn.com/mens-college-b...ffensive/sort/threePointFieldGoalPct/dir/desc

Of the top 10 teams, only Bradley and Houston are still playing

the season's almost over and the three teams at the top of the NCAA stats in 3-point shooting are Bradley, Houston and Villanova.

Bradley finished the season shooting 39.7971% with only two teams capable of beating Bradley out --

and currently Houston is at 39.6927% (very slightly behind Bradley but with at least 1 and possibly two games left),
and Villanova is at 39.7984% (just 13 TEN THOUSANDTHS of a percentage point ahead of Bradley), and they are playing in the College Basketball Crown Tourney in Las Vegas this week, with the potential of
playing 1, 2 or 3 more games.

btw- Villanova, in a somewhat shocking move - just now hired Maryland head coach Kevin Williard, who could possibly get to start coaching right away as Villanova plays Tuesday night. - altho their interim guy still has the role....
Has a new DI head coach ever been hired from another school, and started coaching in April for his new team?

BTW- as a few parting moves, Willard slammed the admin at Maryland before he left to sign with Villanova.

A little bit of good news for BU-
in tonight’s game, Houston shot poorly from 3-point, 6-25,
thus, their season’s 3-pt shooting pct drops down well below Bradley’s and so
Bradley finishes the season #1 in 3-point shooting pct. in Division I.

and btw, tuff luck cheaters for Kelvin Sampson & Bruce Pearl.

Wow! Nice - I didn't think we'd finish Top 3 the way we ended the season with a poor performance, and really didn't seem to shoot well down the stretch of the season (minus the UNI and G Mason games)

When I pulled up 3 point team Ncaa shooting % today, it showed North Dakota State at 39.8% in first. Bradley showed 2nd place at 39.7%.

That must have been an error. They appear to have corrected it - https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1/current/team/152
