Bradley season tickets ready for pickup

I picked up tickets for the Red-White Scrimmage and the St Ambrose game today at the Fieldhouse. I took acouple of quick looks at the men's practice today as well. Some of the guys looked big and looked quick. Can hardly wait for Friday's Red-White scrimmage to get here....

Just picked them up and got some seats for Friday. The cover has a fish eye view of a full house red sea at Carver with the students in white. De Paul last year? The tickets rotate four pics. Matt, Ruff, JC, and Jim Les in his RED blazer. Nice to see Matt get the honor as a senior.

They handed out a flier when I picked up season tiks that had departure times and must reserve by dates for all 4. I do not have it with me now but I remember that Butler was a 1:30 departure and $58 for ride and ticket. The must reserve by date was about 5 days before the game.

I'm impressed, Maybe I won't be one of 10 RED BU fans there...

I don't think the bus trip to Butler is just for students and alums.

I wasn't saying that it was, rather that it being on a weeknight, alums(and community memebers) would like have to work in the morning. And it being the last night of finals students will either be gone or packing up for winter break.

As a long, long time BU fan, I can tell you real fans don't care what time the bus, or their own car leaves Peoria, they will go to the game and still go to work the next morning. The 1982 NIT championship game in New York is a great example.

Thats awesome to hear I know BU has amazing fans, but I'd temper that a little... I would call my self a 'real fan' (haven't missed but one game during my tenure on the hilltop and regularly get large groups of students to go to games, such as ResLife Staff etc.) and I can't leave for games during the weekday because of school, nor will I often be able to because of work when I graduate...

-Hear, Hear!-

That was a short night!

Only reason I could sleep was because I was sicker than h-e-dbl-toothpick.

Amckillip, sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you weren't a "real" fan. Reading this board as much as I do, I know better. I don't go to as many road games as I used to, but I can see your point about not wanting to miss classes, etc. GO BRAVES

I am thinking about the Butler game. For those of you that have taken these trips. Is there beer on the bus?

It's been a few years since I have taken a bus trip, but I might do one or two this season. Bradley does not provide beer or snacks on the busses, but people are free to bring their own, and many do. Some bring pillows, iPods, and other entertainment for the longer trips. Sometimes the host will run tip boards (anyone who has been to the Itoo Hall event know what I am referring to) during the trip and give away some nice prizes.
Both Butler and Northern Iowa are about 4 hours each way.

For anyone that has not been on a bus trip it is a very good time and are reasonably priced ; you can bring your own cooler packed with whatever you wish to bring and they stop to eat after the game.
