Justin Dedman - https://bradleybraves.com/news/2025...s-sixth-head-coach-at-bradley-university.aspx

a native of Lincoln, IL and recently assistant coach at Loyola Marymount, and prior to that Univ of Missouri.

They cite his career record as 575-326 (.638), but apparently that is all as assistants- except a couple years as head coach 15 years ago at DIII Denison University, where he graduated & got his BA degree in 2005.

WELCOME JUSTIN

Justin Dedman appears to have a terrific background, and a wealth of experience, especially in recruiting, despite his young age (he's only 42).
He is originally from Lincoln, Illinois, and played collegiately at Denison, University in Ohio.
There are a few additional bits of information about him on his bio pages from some of his previous coaching stops-

I wonder if he is a Cubs fan? From the Bradley article- "Dedman and his wife, Brittany, have two children, Norah and Maddux".

I asked my nephew, who was an asst coach for 1 year at BU if he was interested and he said coaching baseball up north is really hard. The real good players are heading to schools down south. With that being said I do wish the new coach good luck and hope for the best. Coaching college baseball is a real tough job.

I know it is tough - but hear me out--
It certainly was doable at the time the last coach was hired....

THE TWO CANDIDATES in 2008 that Ken Kavanagh had coming for interviews , BOTH of whom REALLY wanted the Bradley job....
were Mark Kingston and Rick Heller
But as we all know, Glasser went behind Kavanagh's back and embarrased him and the whole University by hiring Elivs, and then KK was canned,
and both Kingston (ISU) and Heller (InSU) took other jobs in the MVC & kicked our butts regularly for years in the MVC.

Both ended up having HOF caliber careers and ultimately both were hired away by bigger P-5 schools who pay 5-10x what midmajors pay.
(Kingston now has a base salary of $600K at Creighton, Heller just signed at Iowa all the way thru 2029!)
Kingston won MVC Coach of the Year twice, Heller once and both had highly successful MVC runs with Championships and NCAA appearances.
(psst - that coulda been us)

Had it not been for Glasser, Bradley would have had one of them and would have had that kind of success. Meanwhile Elvis never won a chanpionship, had horrible years with as few as 5 wins, and was sub-.500. (Oh, and btw- the guy at FGCU has won their COY five times and has multiple 40-win seasons.) Just sayin'
