Bradley isu thread At game

Future Walk-On

New member
Hello

This is a thread for people sitting at the game. Our players might have D1 athleticism but they can't play D1 basketball. basketball is more than jumping At least the fans around us are ignorant like 99 percent of isu fans So its pleasant

This team is worthy of playing in the arena on campus

Future walk on those same players competed just fine last year, didnt always win but played well and won several down the stretch.
Consider maybe we're dealing with issues way deeper than the players.
How much longer before everyone concedes this. We have sold the cash cow for a handful of beans.

Such as?

A Change is imminent

A Change is imminent

Not sure what is it but change is imminent. I have no interest in attending another
BU game until the AD and administration makes a commitment to the team and talent.
GO ILLINI!

Season ticket holders, Illini tickets are available.

Maybe Geno ought to say after the season, "Okay guys all of your scholarships are now open. You have a chance to earn them back this summer or you can transfer elsewhere." It's pretty obvious we need to start over. Just blow it up. These guys show no motivation. No pride in wearing the BU uniform. I'm sick and tired of watching this crap. It's hard to keep the faith. I'm still going to be at Carver on Wednesday to support them because they're my team. But something drastic needs to happen to turn this around. Just not sure what that is.

Speaking of the Illini, maybe Bruce Weber will be looking for a job after this year.

Hmmmm.....

I love it when people respond to a post with a question. I think you know what we're talking about. Not saying that Geno can't turn things around. I still have hope he can do that based on his past record. But even you have to admit that you can't be pleased with Geno's coaching even for an expected rebuilding year, can you???

Good for you to still be attending the games after what happened tonight! But I like your idea. Challange the team, and maybe they start playing like one!

I think most of the reason is the Valley got better this year.

I rightly asked a question of a guy who made his 5th post since 2007. I also try not to answer a question directed to another poster. He never made himself clear and you know it. That quote I highlighted was open ended and could be interpreted several ways. Just like his countdown post......6,5,4,3,2. Countdown to what? Players quit? Geno quit? Players released? New starting lineup? A move by an administrator? More frustrated remarks by posters? Maybe you can tell me what he meant. I really don't know.

As far as if I am pleased with Geno's coaching..... I try not to break down coaches and their decisions. Sure, I have strong opinions, but I try to stay poised and not post my 1st or 2nd thoughts when I am frustrated as I am now. It is so easy to have an opinion after something has happened in a game (Monday morning quarterbacks). Coaches make many split second decisions during a game. They do what they think is right at that moment and don't second guess themselves. The good coaches make more correct decisions than the bad ones. I am a fan of BU first and bleed Bradley red. Win and I am happy. Losing sucks. The only thing I admit to in Geno's first season is that I am miserable.

Makes you long for the Albeck days....
How many times do we let someone bring the ball upcourt and dribble right smack into 2 or 3 guys, then put his head down and keep going until he loses the ball.
How many times do we leave the lane totally undefended? This is unfolding just as predicted...we'll probably be told this was a moral victory.
