For the first time, Bradley is accepting nominations for Hall of Fame from the public
https://bradleybraves.com/news/2025...c-nominations-for-athletics-hall-of-fame.aspx

Nomination form-

Send in a nomination for your favorite Brave!
Bradley has been blessed with an abundance of great players. Is it too early to nominate Malevy Leons? or Darrell Brown, Jr.? Or Duke Deen?

So many great players to choose from. It would be a great disservice to the ones you leave out. But will fill out the questionnaire and give my humble opinion.

Sommerville.
Marcellus Sommerville is already in the Bradley Hall of Fame (BU HOF Class of 2017)...

Cellus is also in the BU Hall of Fame a second time as a member of the 2005-06 Sweet 16 team (BU HOF Class of 2023)-

...And this past year he was also inducted into the Missouri Valley Conference Hall of Fame (MVC HOF Class of 2025).-

Geno Ford's wallet
I'm not sure of that since Geno lost his $1.2 million lawsuit (plus court costs equaling "$246,006.41" - see below, item #31- page 6) from Kent State -

Thanks to Dr. Chris Reynolds and his excellent legal team, some of the counts against Bradley were overturned and DISMISSED on appeal, and Bradley got off without much of the punitive damages that had been awarded against Glasser & Cross for "Tampering & tortious interference" -

"Re: KENT STATE UNIVERSITY,Plaintiff,V.) CASE NO. 2015 CV 00216 vs BRADLEY UNIVERSITY,Defendant.
...
Since KSU failed to meet its burden of proof as to both the elements of lack ofjustification and damages .....there is no basis forliability under Count Two for indemnification for litigation expenses incurred in suing Ford. Therefore, based on the Court's Finding of Facts and Conclusions of Law, the Court findsthat Counts One and Two of the Complaint should be dismissed.IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED that the Complaint ofPlaintiff, Kent State University be hereby dismissed."

"IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED Defendant Bradley University's Motion for SummaryJudgment is granted on Tortious Interference of Contract, Indemnification, Third-PartyBeneficiary, Fraudulent Transfer and Civil Conspiracy///

IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that Kent State University's Motion for Summary Judgmenton Tortious Interference of Contract, Indemnification, Third-Party Beneficiary and FraudulentTransfer, are denied."

The entire four year saga from the time Jim Les was fired, then Geno hired, until Glasser, Cross, et al were canned...
can only be descrbed as the most comically bungled, inept, negligent, wasteful and scandalous four years in college athletics history.
And that doesn't even touch on the massive loss of revenue she squandered & wasted and which it took to buy out hers, Cross' & Geno's self-inflated ego-contracts &
the tanking of enrollment she caused that took years to correct.

the whole mess with Kent State wasn't Geno's fault, but he paid a hefty price for JG's blunders, altho one thing Joanne did was
guarantee up to $400K of his buyout, so it also cost BU to pay part of that $1.2 mil.

Geno has done ok at Stony Brook - a 2nd & a 3rd place finish and a 20 win season just a year before last, that earned him a 2-year extension & raise.
With so many DI schools within a couple hundred mile radius of Stony Brook (at least 50-60) recruiting for him is not easy. He goes heavily for transfers, Euro kids and jucos.

Back when Wardle got here, there were some who criticized that he was NOT going the juco & transfer route, and instead bringing in
freshmen every year but taking 3-4 years to build experience within the program.
I recall specifically some pointing to Dan Muller back then, and how he built up to a 28-win season in 2016-17 and went 17-1 in the Valley bringing
in jucos (Fayne, Akoon-Purcell (felony GF beating), Clayton), transfers (Yarbrough (ran his GF over), Banyard, Brewer, and 2-DUI Javaka Thomson), and non-qualifiers who had to sit out a year (Deonte Hawkins & Mikyle McIntosh). Those guys, however, created chaos and a horrible team chemistry that sank the program for the next 5 years and cost Muller his job.

BUT, now we see how Wardle's plan has paid off for Bradley! We have experienced seniors every year who've been with the program, and we stay at the top of the MVC instead of like Stony Brook (and ISU), crashing out every other year by rolling the dice & bringing in a bunch of jucos, transfers & marginal guys.
Wardle was right - his critics were wrong.
