All this talk about the RPI - even though it is WAY TOO EARLY - has got me started on the BracketBuster thread for 2010. :D

Teams are ranked by their RPI after games played through Friday 12/4. I will update this weekly or so and more often in late January.

TV Matchups will be announced on Feb 1st (networks and time slots on Feb 8th).

One thing I noticed... there are 3 teams ALREADY scheduled to play on Friday Feb 19th. Maybe their arenas were unavaliable on Saturday the 20th... or maybe they were hoping to get a leg up on a Friday TV slot. The three are UNI, SIU and South Carolina St. I have my doubts as to whether SIU will get a TV game, but it is way too early to tell. But what's funny is... South Carolina St is a ROAD team and UNI and SIU are a home team. Maybe SIU will get South Carolina St just because they are available and it won't be televised. LOL!

Anyway - here's the list. Remember - we can't play someone we already played this season and we can't play someone in our conference (had to say that for Squirrel ;)).

Time to fire up my CAA bandwagon. Let's get ODU or Drexel in there.

And once again, all the power in the BB is in the home side of the split, not the away. Which means a few unfortunate teams will get useless home games. I'm already preparing to whine about it.
 
Not sure why UNI is locked into the Friday game of BB. There are no known conflicts in the McLeod Center or UNI-Dome on Saturday. I'll have to try to find out more info on this.

Hmmm, we haven't played Youngstown St. yet and they are in the RPI vicinity of teams we may draw! :D

Seriously though Siena, Niagara or ODU again would be nice. We need to avenge the loss to ODU earlier this year, so that would make the most sense! ;)

Right now - it looks like Wright St might be a good fit. (IMO)

And then maybe next year, when we make the return trip to the Dayton area - maybe, just maybe, we can get Xavier, Cincinnati, Dayton, or Miami on the schedule. :D
 
Here's the update following the MVC's results from last night. (I only did yesterday's update by request) ;) I plan on doing them after the MVC has played games (so typically after Sat/Sun and after Tues/Wed). But I will update more often as we get closer to the Feb 1st and Feb 8th announcements of matchups.
