I hope the mods don't get upset with me.....but I just had to create a thread to wish one of my favorite posters (dogsrus) a happy 50th birthday! :) :) :)

I guess you could say we celebrated your B/D a week early while in SPI, but here's to good health, better golf scores, a BU victory tonight (and Tues night against MSU), and many more out-of-town trips together to watch BU basketball.

I'll buy you a beer at halftime tonight.....;) :)

Rumor has it that DRU will be heading over to Red Zin for a victory drink and to celebrate his 50 years of bad golf.....Stop by to say hello and maybe even buy the old geezer a drink!

(Red Zin is directly across the street from the Civic Center in the twin towers)

Wait a minute.....I'm over 50 and I don't hit from the senior tees! We need to rethink this "senior" advantage you're willing to give him just because he's AARP membership material now. ;)

It's a price advantage. They gave DRU (and the rest of us ;) - well, maybe not HoustonBrave) the senior green fee price at the South Padre Golf Club.
 
Happy Birthday DRU. With all the beer offers you may be asleep (or on the floor) by the end of halftime.

I expect to hear your voice throughout the arena tonight just like we could at SPI (you may have to yell a bit louder).

Thanks everyone.....wow it just seems like yesterday I was only 49:). I'll have more to say later but I'm tired now and must nap.
 
I saw dogsrus sipping a bottle of some "soft drink", sitting right behind the SEMO coach, Scott Edgar. Now, don't tell me he was taunting Edgar and trying to start another fight??

I did chat with him but it was all good. Semo played hard and he had some good things to say about BU the day before in the paper. Seemed like a good guy.
