Seems like a good deal for both sides, but the guaranteed number hasn't been released. I'm glad Forte won't be holding out.

Rosenbloom doesn't like the move. I think he would fit in well on this board.

Maybe now the Chicago media will stop obsessing and pontificating about Forte's contract and how the Bears should act. Now they can go back to reporting the really important news about the Bears, like everything about Jay Cutler prepping for fatherhood or how bad he sings.

July is a rough sports month. At least the Olympics are coming up shortly. There was also a story recently about DRose leaving a night club (not arrested, not causing a problem, no DUI). It was from TMZ in fairness to the Chi media.

Looks like $18M guaranteed. It sounds like a good deal for both sides overall.
