Basketball offices in Renaissance

Any projected estimates to possible damage to basketball offices at Renaissance? An apparent unfortunate incident has caused a bit of a flood. Not sure about any damage to the practice facility floor.

this does sound crazy - how can this happen without someone turning off the water?

Ahh, it was one of them Footballers ;)

But yes, the few sprinkler system incidents I have heard of (including a school's computer lab) all involved a lot of water damage. I would imaging that no sprinkler system designer/installer ever wants to hear the sprinklers did not supply enough water in a fire.
I would guess a fireman has to shut the water off, after they determine theirs no fire.

Well the BU Operating Engineers can turn off the water to the sprinklers but your talking a minimum 15 minutes for it to be shutoff. Sprinkler Water flow rates vary for building type/area but either way, these heads are designed to extinguish flames, so you can imagine how fast the water is coming out.
