Away game trips

Are there any plans for bus trips to away games? In years past this was a more common occurrence. With the BU fan base getting a little older, I am betting that this would be a big hit with the BU faithful. Maybe a thing of the past, but am sure there would be strong interest if it was put in place again.
 
Sounds like a great idea Dave!

I will be attending the road games at Valpo and UIC this coming season, as I live close to Chi-town.
Carver is gonna be rockin' with a couple P-town guys fresh on the roster and expectations high as usual under Coach Wardle.
 
They have not done bus trips for fans for many years, and as far as I know, there will not be any this year. None of the people who worked at Bradley when there were fan bus trips are still there now, so I doubt anyone now at Bradley even knows they were once done regularly.
 
Be cool if BU could put out sign up sheets or questionnaires in the season ticket info/packages to gauge interest in road trips for the upcoming season....could at least find out if people are interested.

Seems like BU could do so much more in terms of ticket/info/customer support than what they are doing. Interest seems to be back...need to take advantage of it before it's too late or turn more people off.

They would have to have a person that works at Bradley want to arrange these bus trips. It seems like nobody there is interested in promoting these extra type of things. Ken Golden pretty much was in charge of doing all these trips. He retired a way back so now nothing is done.
 
Great idea of putting out a questionnaire along with season tickets renewals. Fans I have spoken to on the matter would love to go on trips to away games. As has been posted before, the fan base is getting along in years and what a turnout at away games it could be to root for our Braves. Maybe wishful thinking, but perhaps we will see it again some day.
