are we gonna sign MO or not?

Southern!

and I had the "here we go again" mood in another game where we f'ed up twice but hung on I can't remember what game.

Aside from the Loyola and SIU home losses last year where he turned the ball over multiple times in the waning moments, yes.

Nobody's perfect. No Dodie, McCain and rookie running mates made it tough at times for Sammy. But I still wouldn't trade him for any other guard in the Valley.

It wasn't just him, but I wouldn't say beating the press was one of his or our strengths. Hopefully that's one of many things an overhauled staff will help clean up this year.

The worst thing a player can do against the press is to try to dribble though it and worst than that is to get trapped/cought in one of the corners and have them double up on you. Plus being short when that happens to a player like Sammy is a death march. Thats what happen to Sammy more than once:!: But I will take him and his heart any day:!::D

OOB and Amckillip - I Grew up in the Burg but went to Costa. Played jr. high football with Dave Mckillip. Any relation? Played high school football with Joe Kennedy, Steve Welch, Paul Mckillip, etc. I graduated from Costa in 1970 and played on the last BU football team. My dad graduated from BU so I was a big fan of BU hoops even back then. Zack Theil visited BU the same day I did but he ended up at SMU. I have enjoyed the "Burg" banter. It was a great place to grow up!!

Yeap, Costa HS was the school with NO Windows:-o I would never made it there:!: I think Dave Mckillip was the Mckillip that worked at IP that I mentioned. Costa had some good BB teams in the mid 60's. They had some really good BB players and where ranked high in the state a couple years in 63 and 64. Had a player tranfer in, I think his name was Woods. They played GHS in some Big games that had the town divided between catholics and what everone else was or was not. Coach Theil was something else:roll: Also because I played 3 years of football for GHS, I new of a guy named Stan (moose) Bucklovich from Galesburg who played Football at BU,
See Amckillp, there are BU BB fans from the burg:lol:
The Rib Shack, no better place to eat:!: Try it everyone, you won't be sorry and won't go away hungry:D

whenever my baseball team drove up for the Galesburg Classic....we would get to stop at sirloin stockade if we won both games that day. not that sirloin stockade is a cool local business....but it is good!

Don't rule MO out yet. We're ALL just speculating here. I still have faith that we'll get him at BU sometime soon. Icing on the cake. :)

Definitely not ruling him out...but sure would have liked to have that LOI signed. I have a feeling he'll be playing college ball somewhere next year, but am afraid it won't be for BU.

from the PJS......

"If we can fill this last one, that would be great," Les said. "We're working to try to do that. If not, we'll save it for next year."

Bradley has an offer out to 6-8, 250-pound Michael Ocherobia of the Canary Islands, but academic issues have delayed that process.

Thanks for the update, that must be in the latest web update, I missed it. I would really like to add MO to the mix. While retaining most of our core, I think the look of our team gets vastly different...in a good way.

I want to know what "academic issues" means.......his teammate has already signed with Seton Hall.......................................................................
