Boston Bird...how can ISU land Diamond Taylor unless they have a scholarship right NOW....or are you saying they are going to ask him to come to ISU, walk on and pay his own way this year, then maybe get a ride next year?
Nope-- ain't gonna happen...the kid was a talented player and will get 20-30 offers for his services and can have his pick where they'll get him on scholarship this year. And again...if you want to believe Taylor left Wisconsin without any urging whatsoever, then fine with me, but I am not so naive.
and your point about Glover is what??? By even mentioning him you are kinda fortifying my point...because Glover never was on a basketball scholarship, so by getting kicked off the team his situation with the university doesn't really change does it? He can stay in school, continue to draw any academic or other scholarship aid but he won't play ball.
Taylor on the other hand, WAS on scholarship, so for him to leave on his own would be silly since he'd be giving up tens of thousands of $$ of what's already his.
So IF he is leaving I have to believe it is because he has been given no option and won't have his scholarship....
which leads to the next point...he won't have to pick a next school until at least December, although I have no idea how long he'll wait...
...he can wait 'til then and still enroll where they have a scholarship immediately for him and he will not be eligible until midyear next year anyway.
