Any Word on Remy & Others?

Is there a timeline for this? MY sources say an update on Remy could be forthcoming. What about the others? Wonder if Coach Ford and staff have made contact with everyone yet?

Coach Ford is back in town now, but will hit the recruiting trail again on Friday. If we can confirm where he is headed, we'll let everyone know.

Harris is still on his mission, correct? Does anyone know when he gets back. I know some have suggested he is not likely to come now, but I have to think he doesnt have many other options if he wants to play D1 next year, after 3 years off. I'd still love to have him at BU.

Yes, he is still in San Pedro, Honduras. Sean does have other options. He could return to Yuba college, and I also know there are other D1 coaches who would love to have him. Our coaching staff should know before too long what will happen.
Sean left for Honduras around August 6, 2009. So it is possible he might not return from his mission trip until later this summer.

I suspect we will hear about Remy Abell's final decision in the next week or so. Though nothing is final yet, and there may still be time for Coach Ford to re-recruit RA, Bradley fans should not get their hopes up too high.

Sounds like the release has been signed.
Oh well. I'd rather retain DSE than get Remy.

Coach Ford is great...he is actively on chris harrison docks..who has multiple offers from D1 schools and ND is actively after him now...think Coach can pull this one out...be a great catch for next year.

Here is our thread about Chris Harrison-Docks-

As I posted elsewhere, Coach Ford did review Bradley's current recruiting files, and intends to continue recruiting a number of those players. I agree that is great news. This shows Coach Ford is a hard worker, and wants to build on Bradley's recent recruiting successes.
A lot of newly hired coaches would rather discard any recruiting information left over from the previous administration, and do things their way from day one. Coach Ford obviously respects the information and channels developed by the previous coaches, and intends to use that in addition to his own connections. Part of the reason Coach Willie Scott was retained on staff was so he could help stay in contact with some of those recruits he has developed a relationship with.

I would still hope that Remy wants to play for BU because he could be the one that comes and leads us to championships, with the facilities we have we should be able to land top notch talent plus Coach Ford sounds like the type of coach players like to play for as it will be an uptempo type of game.
