Any room left in the shelter?

I must say I'm a bit surprised he left what could be an NCAA Tournament team next year. But I do see the logic as he will be a BCS head coach in a few years at the most. Albeit a BCS head coach of a team worse than Northwestern had been, but a BCS team nonetheless. :D

Despite being arch enemies, many on this site feel your pain.

Bad for ISUR, bad for the Valley....particularly after many up and coming coaches have already made their moves...

The only positive note is what better place for a good new coach to come into with a rising ISUR team?

They go to ISU, they know far more than our pain simply by waking up in the morning. I'd take BU at the worst it has ever been, over ISU in the Final four before that gap is even remotely close.

I'm optimistic about where we will be in a few years, I'd guess we tie/break our best valley finish ever under JL. You are aware Tornado, that JL never won the valley right nor ever came all that close? You realize that it has been a while since we beat ISU under JL? If Geno doesn't have us competing for the Valley in a few years, I will be calling for his head too, and for the head of any coach that doesn't have serious championship aspirations, call me crazy but I expect winning from BU, nothing else.
