Yes, water bottle was thrown and he had words with Les...
Don't blame him though...lead was cut to 6 and he's by far our best chance at putting the ball in the basket...
This is just another example of Les being Les, quite similar to taking Will out after scoring 4 straight and not bringing him back the rest of the first half...
He wasn't buying in.

Are you talking about the off balance shot in front of the BU bench. TERRIBLE shot but the guy who should have taken one just not that one. Little chance of going in.
I said along with a few others in our section why did Les take out Will right after he hit 2 jumpers in a row, then he sits Andrew when we are 6 down with a chance to get only 3 down and finally puts him back in after we go 10 down, Les does not or never did substitute correctly, its like he has no idea what transpired in the last 4 minutes of the game. Andrew should be upset for coming out as he is our best weapon plus with him on the floor our other players have a better chance at getting open.
Finally when will be get a true center as without one we will never beat the great teams.

Could it also have had to do with Warren not being able to handle Weems? Regardless its silly to pull your only true scoring option for any other reason then him fouling out or needing a rest. To make a point... is it really needed?

Second play of the second half where Weems went directly to the basket on Warren and after the made basket by BU, Les called a timeout. Was one time I can recall Warren defending Weems.
Shot selection by Warren was poor but his D wasnt great last night either... regardless it doesnt matter.
I for one am not going to criticize JL for his handling of players..
I think its silly to do that.
the players JL plays are his choice.
Whether or not these players are any good, also referrs back to his recruiting.
Andrew is frustrated I am sure.

I still say I question whether AW would even make this effort if he was sharing responsibility with the other players, ie tb and sm

If you are referring to the one Weems dunked, his primary defender was screened off and nobody switched to help. I don't recall if it was Warren's fault, but I thought overall he played good defense. It was the threes that hurt most.

No it was a one on one move to the left block for a lay up. Weems went to his left hand from about 10ft out down the lane. No help d just AW v Weems for an easy lay up.

Why is it silly to criticize Les for his handling of player rotations?
If he is pulling his only scoring option down 6 because he is upset with that players shot selection, I think it is very valid to talk about that choice. If he is not playing Prosser in favor of a smaller Eastman or not playing Prosser or he is pulling a not in foul trouble Egolf for long periods of time I think it is valid to discuss these choices.
Just because they are his players and his decisions doesnt mean it is silly to talk/criticize his decisions.

the team is horrible...I mean what does the guy do? He has to try and instill some discipline..
BUT, the issue is the team is horrible, and before that its mediocre, and it will be mediocre at best next year...
Furthermore, what is going to happen when we lose Dodi and AW's production. Tornado seems to think that adding TB and SM equals a plus 8 for this year (each of us have our own opinion)
I think that aw-dd+sm+tb(perhaps) is not going to help too much

Oh I agree completely this is one horrible team and I am completely convinced it will not be much better next year but that is a discussion for another time.
I think it is way to late to try and instill discipline in a 5th year senior on a real bad basketball team. I think overall it doesnt matter in the least because we are not going to win many games but having Warrens rear sitting on a bench and for that matter both Prosser and Egolf isnt going to give us even a glimmer of hope to win a game if they are sitting.
This is my deal I do not get why Eastman plays. He is an ok player and would be very valuable on a good team as a role player but he really doesnt give you anything that will allow you to win a game. And to have him try to play a 4 or even a 3 and try to play on the block against anyone is silly. He should not get more minutes then Prosser.
But your right it doesnt matter at all. If we win 3 games this season in conference it is a miracle. Warren is frustrated bigtime and I for one do not mind seeing fire from him atleast he gives a flip.

Very much agree. I would also take some of Eastman's minutes and allocate them to MK to get him game experience! We are too lenient with our guards making mistakes and way to strict with our taller players. This is a year in which JL should experiment more with players. The fact that JL is so predictable with his lineups etc frustrates me to no end!
I think Andrew is in a really tough spot. This season, from a seniors perspective, is lost. He's got nothing to look forward to or build toward like the younger guys. And for a guy with the chance to play professionally, I'm sure he's thinking about doing what best for his future as well as trying to be a team player. If I'm him, it's really tough not to try and pad my stats and do whatever possible to put together a solid resume for the next level, wherever that may be.
