I like the late night crew...I don't post much, but some friends of mine do (I consider you all BU friends) and it gives me something to read as I am changing time zones. For that, I thank you all! :D
 
Lol. It was dripping with gravitas too. I'm also a guy who's suppsed to
show up at like 630 or 7 too... But no "time-zone advantage" here.

I think BU has always wanted to win, Les included. And no one can argue his two best years were the Sweet Sixteen year of 2006 and the NIT year of 2007. But he also did a great coaching job in 2008 overcoming injuries in taking his team to the CBI finals. 2009 was even worse injury wise, and that's why it took awhile for his team to gel in 2010.

Now I know many will disagree with my assessment that this team played to their expectations last year, but when you have two starters who played their way back from serious injuries the previous year, 16-15 and a fifth place finish was not all that bad. However, I do agree that next year is the year Les needs to lead this team to at least an NIT birth and top 3 Valley finish, if not higher. We have a veteran team and if the injuries are held in check, and our new assistants can offer Les any help he needs, I see no reason why we can't at least be in the title hunt throughout the season.

Maybe some other veteran coach could come in here and make an immediate impact, but I say changing coaches when a veteran team is coming back is the wrong thing to do at the wrong time. Let's see what Les can do this year before we all jump on the "Les should be fired" bandwagaon.

I also wish good luck to AB in his new endeavors in Texas. He did a great job here, and I hope whomever comes in will also do well.

I assume AB3 was leaving for awhile so I won't think it will.
