their league's season is winding down and their playoffs begin within a month

Theron Wilson has been hot - has his averages up to 20.1 ppg & 8 rpg
In the last few weeks he's had some pretty special games...

29 pts, 8 rebs..
39 pts, 10 rebs..
31 pts, 10 rebs
..also getting 2-3 steals in each game...

but his contract with Geelong has expired, season ended, and Theron has now left the team - he is back, now, in the US...and working on either a new contract or extension...

Ouch - in a preseason game in Italy - Zach Andrews has suffered a partial medial collateral ligament tear and is out currently..

Here's a name from the distant past....

James Hamilton - ex-BU Brave who had a LONG career in Great Britain - has now returned as coach of Cheshire Jets
http://www.ukamericansportsfans.com/james-hamilton-returns-to-cheshire-jets-as-playercoach

Hamilton played his freshman and sophomore seasons at BU before transferring to Iowa State (where he played along side Fred Hoiberg)

Here are his stats at Bradley:
1990-1991, Fr: 226 pts, 28 games, 8.1 ppg, 6.6 rpg
1991-1992, So: 379 pts, 28 games, 13.5 ppg, 7.3 rpg
he left just as Albeck was fired...

sadly James' performance at Iowa State hints he may have been better off staying at BU as after he sat out a year he
ended up playing two more years as a sub averaging only 3.4 ppg,

Here's a name from the distant past....

James Hamilton - ex-BU Brave who had a LONG career in Great Britain - has now returned as coach of Cheshire Jets
http://www.ukamericansportsfans.com/james-hamilton-returns-to-cheshire-jets-as-playercoach..

James Hamilton taking over the Cheshire Jets might have had him coaching Peoria & ex-Richwoods Knight Bill Cole who had a fine year and averaged 16.3 ppg and 8.9 rpg with the jets in 2011-2012.
http://www.britishbasketballunion.com/news/2359.php

However - the Jets's site now lists Bill Cole as having left the team and NOT been re-signed.
The Cheshire Jets just changed owners and hired Hamilton as a new head coach but I am not sure why they wouldn't make every effort to lock Cole in since he was one of their best players.

Pro league play has started in Uruguay...and one game of interest to Valley fans last night....

Ex-BU Brave Eddie Cage scored 15 pts & hauled down 8 rebounds to lead his Tabare team but it was not enough as Carlton Fay's Trouville - won 78-67.
Trouville goes to 1-1 with Fay now averaging 8 ppg/5 rpg...
Tabare is 0-2 with Eddie Cage avergaing 13 ppg/8 rpg

One other Central Illinois player is also playing in Uruguay - Chas McFarland from Lovington HS (near Decatur) & Wake Forest
http://www.latinbasket.com/player.asp?Cntry=URU&PlayerID=116839

Eddie Cage again had a 15-point game but this time it was enough to help his Tabar?© squad to a 99-89 win over Bohemios
