6 MVC games Saturday, Jan. 18

Missouri State really doesn't have much talent but they were right with ISU the whole way and had a good chance to upset the Redbirds at ISU.
They were within 3 pts with just under 30 sec and coming out of a timeout, they wasted almost 10 seconds - then fouled perhaps the best FT
shooter in the league, Kinziger. But they still had time to get off a decent shot and maybe foul again, but they don't have a true PG and fumbled the ball away. You kinda almost feel sorry for them but then you remember they are stiffing the MVC and bolting for C-USA, so I don't feel the least bit sorry, and hope they go 0-18 (or maybe at least upset Drake & Belmont.

I see UNI is having a really bad game at SIU- down 28 points with just 5 minutes to go. So there will be only two 6-2 teams (Drake & Belmont) behind 7-1 Bradley.

--edit - under 2 minutes, almost a 30 point lead and SIU still has their starters in there...:rolleyes:
UNI yanked their starters with 8 min to go
