NONE of these games help us....its IMPERATIVE we win. PERIOD. I suppose one could argue UE over SIU but if we have to hope for that it says alot about us.

IF we win, a Creighton win over ISU would help us, because we still have a game @ Creighton. A wim there and 3rd place(?).

The Drake-Indiana St. game is interesting since the loser is probably doomed to Thursday. I'm gonna pull for Drake in that one since we already have the tie-breaker over them.

Agreed to that. I'm starting to think 9-9 should be enough to keep us out of Friday, and that may come down to the Indy St. and WSU games. But let's see what we can do today.
 
I was thinking about that very issue, but then I decided I'd rather face a CU team who really hasn't shown they care much about this season versus an inspired MSU team with Weems who seems to be coming back around for them....either way, just avoid the redbirds at all costs. as I said before, at least one of the play-ins is advancing to Saturday this year.

Didnt we get Altman back to back 2 years ago and got it handed to us in STL after a great game in Omaha? You are right but JL has not had much success with Altman let alone if he gets to scheme us twice in a week.

Yup. We blew an 8 point lead with 1:30 left in the first OT in Omaha, and ended up losing in 2 OT. Then we faced them in St. Louis, got down about 20, came back to tie, only to falter in the waning moments. Dana is 17-3 against us in his last 20.
