With 2 open scholarships available, Bradley coaches may have been contacted by players looking to transfer at the semester break.
I've heard one player's name who is looking to transfer.
Bradley's 2nd semester begins Wednesday, Jan. 17, so if a transfer happens, it would probably be soon.
A D1 transfer would not be eligible to play this season, but would have 2 seasons of eligibility left.

For the record, it's very unlikely that Bradley will get a mid-year transfer. Also, there are no reports yet that either Trey Pettigrew or Emarion Ellis have entered the transfer portal. We don't know what their status is at this point. Even if they did enter the portal, I am not sure the scholarships players can be reused for the 2nd semester.

I would think that if a player is still under scholarship he would not be allowed to play anywhere else

Another question about this scenario.. So a player can transfer for second semester but just not be play in games. Can he still practice with the team but not dress for the games?

Thought I’d let everyone know that all of the Metamora basketball games are live on MTCO streaming and YouTube. They play Tuesday night against Morton. Belmont coaches were there last night talking to coach Grieves. Don’t know who they were there to see

Coach, any word if Bradley is recruiting Bradley Longcor from Quincy. He is a junior. Very smooth and versatile

Bradley has been in contact with Longcor for over a year. We had this mention a few months ago- https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/s...-2023-and-beyond-recruits?p=512286#post512286

Anyone know the story about Duke Dean and the eye problem. They have brought it up twice now and never finished the story.

Duke has only partial vision in his left eye. It's been reported that "he was born with only 50% vision in the left eye."

The color analyst on Saturday's MVC-TV broadcast, Rich Zvosec, commented, "He shoots better with an eye and a half than most guys with 2 eyes."

By the way, I rewatched the game (on the ESPN+ Replays), and play by play man John Rooney and Zvosec are both terrific.

well kept secret...
McKendree University, 2 hrs south of Bradley University, just moved up to DII & are doing very well thanks mostly to two solid 6-8 guys
who are reminiscent of Humrichous at Evansville.
Milos Vicentic (23 ppg, 5.5 rpg, 39.2% from 3pt, 84% FT) and Caleb Zurliene (15.1 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 39.3% from 3pt, 82% FT).
Both have their Covid year left, so you hafta think there are DI schools checking in on them.

Vicentic played for OKK Belgrade, the same Serbian club team that Meta Jonovic played for before coming to the US. Despite an age difference, they would probably know each other.

To clarify, since this is a recruiting thread, Bradley is not recruiting either player.
