2025-26 Rankings

....I would like to know what criteria was used to rank UNI and Belmont higher than Murray State and Bradley
...
Yeah - he's entitled to his opinion, but.....
LOL, Belmont is 2-0 plus they narrowly won an exhibition vs Tennessee Tech....
ALL THREE were close wins and all three of those opponents are lousy-
between the three of them, they have combined record of 0-6 against other DI teams.

As a team, Belmont thus far is shooting just 26% from the arc and getting outrebounded by 5 per game

Thanks for the catch on the rankings. I was out here: https://bballnet.com/

Missed the date on it and was just looking at the records - usually more careful, so thanks!

Redbird time - man, I felt like I had a ton to say:

Interesting site. They have game results updated through regularly (Nov. 9), but their NET numbers are based on the last NCAA NET update, which, as was noted) was last March at the end of the regular season (March 16, 2025).
Once the NCAA starts posting their NET rankings for '25-'26, that site will be a useful and convenient way of finding NET numbers nicely sorted by conference. Also, by clicking on any team name, it gives the current breakdown of that team's games sorted into Quad 1, 2, 3, and 4.
Example: Bradley's two games are currently a Quad 2 loss (St. Bonaventure) and a Quad 4 win (Central Michigan).-

speaking of NET- one game last night is not good for our future NET...
future opponent UMass-Lowell, who lost by 64 to UConn, then came home for a winnable game vs. New Haven, a team that's just a couple
games into their transition from D2 to DI and had never beaten a DI team...and they were 0-3, having been blown out in three games already by about 30 points/game,
BUT....UMass-Lowell fell flat and lost to New Haven 73-67, shooting poorly & getting outrebounded.
Oh well, there goes our at-large chances... ;)
