2023 Demarion Burch

Demarion Burch continues to put up big numbers. After putting up games with 44 and 42 points last Friday and Saturday in their Regional wins, he scored 28 yesterday as Milwaukee Hamilton pulls an upset and advances in their Wisconsin state tournament Sectional.

#6 seed Milwaukee Hamilton will play #1 seed Arrowhood Saturday night for the Sectional 3 Championship (of 4 Sectionals) in Division I, the largest school division.

Demarion Burch, 6-4, G, Milwaukee Hamilton
Few would argue with the contention Burch ranks right along with Lakeside Lutheran's Levi Birkholz as the most athletic player in the state's 2023 class. Burch's high-wire act at Hamilton was must-see basketball this winter and the Bradley University recruit responded by helping the Wildcats to a 21-7 record and WIAA Division 1 sectional-final appearance. Burch averaged 27.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 4.9 assists and 2.0 steals en route to earning first-team all-Milwaukee City Gold Conference honors.

That’s great but, can he make a shot outside of a dunk? Those driving lanes will be cut down at the d-1 level. Hopefully he can shoot the ball.
 
Hey Coach when will Burch actually sign with Bradley? (If players even still do that.) If all he has given is a verbal commitment I'm afraid with all those accolades other schools will swoop in with a lot more $$$$$ and sign him.
