2020 and Beyond Recruiting Targets

An interesting new name that Bradley is connected with-
2020 Amir-Hossein Rahimzad- 6'8", 240 pound forward. He is an Iranian national player now at Edge Prep, a relatively new prep school in Alberta, Canada that is coached by the former head coach that Ja'Shon Henry played for in Saskatchewan. There is not much info available about him. He played for the Iranian National Team, and as an amateur for Petrochimi Bandar Imam Basketball Club (BIPC), an Iranian professional basketball club based in Mahshahr, Iran, which competes in the Iranian Basketball Super League.

Kenneth Lofton, Jr. has blown up over the summer and was getting a lot of high major interest. But he just cut his list of offers down to a final 5, which includes Bradley-

Kenneth Lofton, Jr. will make an official visit to Bradley August 31. He also has visits planned to Louisiana Tech, Texas State, Sam Houston State, and possibly Georgetown.

He has already had an unofficial visit to Georgetown. His older brother lives in Washington, DC.

And today is Kenneth Lofton, Jr.'s birthday. He just turned 17 y/o.

No, you are right. Those are Texas high school basketball guys. I think the reason they don't have much to say about Bradley is that they don't know much about Bradley. However, they did acknowledge the Missouri Valley is a higher level of play than 3 of his other 4 choices (La. Tech, Texas St., and Sam Houston St.). They couldn't name our coach and they seemed to want the kid to go either to Georgetown, because that is his "best" offer, or to one of those schools closer to home so his parents can watch him play. But during their podcast, Kenneth Lofton, Sr. texted and told them they preferred Kenneth, Jr. not go to a school close to home!

For the record, I am not convinced he is a Georgetown/Big East caliber player right now (a 6'6" post player). So I am a bit surprised by the Georgetown offer. It is the only Power 6 conference offer. But as I have said before, there are a lot of different kinds of offers, and we do not know what his offer from Georgetown involves. It could be a conditional offer ("if player A doesn't commit, then you will get his scholarship, or "if player B leaves early for the NBA, we'll have a scholarship for you"), or it could involve redshirting his first year like Ben Jacobson at UNI does frequently, or it might be conditional on him doing a year of prep school.
I notice that Georgetown just brought in 3 post players in their class of 2019 (2 of them are 4-stars), and they already have a commitment from a 4-star class of 2020 power forward. I'm sure the Loftons will consider all that when they decide.-

One would think Childs development is a huge selling point in this recruitment.

Mention of Bradley 2021 point guard recruit Connor Hickman of Bloomington South HS by Indiana prep recruiting specialist Jeff Rabjohns-
https://twitter.com/JeffRabjohns/sta...81732101496832

Bradley coaches have been on the road making recruiting visits this week since the recruiting "Quiet Period" ended Sunday, Sept. 8.
I hear at least one, possibly more of them were in Indiana. They are recruiting several 2020 and 2021 Indiana kids that we have listed here in this thread.
Coach Wardle posted this tweet when he arrived back at the Peoria airport late Wednesday night from a recruiting trip.
