Missouri State lands a verbal from Gaige Prim
a Class of 2019 6-7 power forward forward from South Plains (juco) - originally from Aurora CO
...altho there must be some roster movement expected as they seem to be out of available scholarships for 2019

He played his first year at West Texas A&M (DII) where he averaged 10.5 ppg, 6.8 rpg, then went to South Plains for 2018-19

Missouri State must definitely be planning to Jank a few current players
now they have landed another 2019 kid - a talented point guard Jordan Brinson
His other offer was Loyola Marymount - kinda odd considering ESPN has him rated 4-Star -
but other services like Rivals doesn't even list him and scout/247Sports has him unrated.

Evansville's DeAndre Williams moves to 2019 and has to sit out this year & added a couple to the Missouri State list

Or like Ben Jacobson likes to do with a lot of his recruits, maybe one of his 2019 recruits will walk-on for the first year, then may get a scholarship.

Gauger prob is a walk-on - hard to believe UNI is offering him a scholarship when nobody else is

It looks like A.J. Green will be UNI's point guard for the next 4 years, so he apparently knows he is probably going to be a back-up at best.

Here is an interesting story from the Prep School that ISU got freshman Abdou Ndiaye...

ISU's Dan Muller also offered Ndiaye's teammate at Nation Prep, Class of 2019 Marvens Petion...

but Petions has been threatened with being dismissed & shipped back to Haiti for his behavior.....altho the head coach doing all this sounds like a total jerk
...but I seriously doubt any of this would change Muller's offer if the kid can score...
https://watchstadium.com/news/prep-...irade-threatens-basketball-player-10-31-2018/

"Woodbury (the coach at the Prep School) made several accusations to Stadium regarding Petion,
including finding alcohol in the player’s room, incidents of theft and alleged attempts to extort school leadership.
Woodbury said the final straw was Petion skipping school."

There you have it -
this is the program that ISU had been trying like crazy to cozy up to, they sent their coaches down there
and were bragging that they wanted to "build a pipeline from there to ISU"
Wonder if they will still be vigorously tring to recruit all their players or will they distance themselves from that guy?

2019

Missouri State - Gaige Prim......

so far this kid Gaige Prim, who has reportedly verbaled to Missouri State, is filling it up...
Last night 19 pts, 20 rebounds, 3 asst - last game 28 pts/18 rebs
..and in 2 juco games thus far with South Plains he's averaging 23.5 ppg, 19.0 rebs, and hitting 71% from the field, 87% from the FT line.
(and they're not playing slouches - their two opponents have been two solid juco programs, Panola & Jacksonville)
Betcha his phone is ringing....Missouri State fans will be worrying soon if not already with a week to go to signing period

List updated with a couple new guys committed...Henderson to Evansville & another obscure, small Iowa school kid to UNI, Tytan Anderson

Indiana State gets a commitment from a 6-8 2019 juco forward Christopher Agbo - this appears to put them over the scholarship limit so someone may be leaving

Article about Indiana State's newest commitment from a 6'8", 265 pound forward Christopher Agbo from Pearl River Community College in Mississippi.
He averaged just over 10 points per game. Agbo also played for the Southern Stampede club team.

Agbo is averaging 6.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game.
He also had offers from Jacksonville State and Southern Mississippi.
This puts Indiana State one over the scholarship limit for next season, so someone on their roster is not returning, or one of their 2019 recruits is not coming.
