2018 & Beyond recruiting targets

looks like the rest of our 2018 targets have all either signed elsewhere or are likely off the radar screen...so i do not know if we will use the unclaimed 2018 scholarship this year...perhaps a transfer will still materialize....

Baugh & Umoffia are still available but Baugh has reclassified to 2019 & is getting some big offers while Umoffia is getting almost zero interest -

some of the other obscure ones (Tyreese Davis to Jacksonville, Jarred Godfrey to Ft. Wayne, Bailey Dee to Kirkwood, Glover just underwent ACL surgery) are no longer targets

I have reason to believe per communication, that Boya is on track and things look optimistic for 2018

Armon Brummett - COMMITTED on 1/23/2018 - here was the earliest mention of him - Armon Brummett
Chudier Bile COMMITTED on 4/17/18 - athletic juco forward with two years remaining
Aristide Boya - already COMMITTED - maybe will reclassify as 2018 (see under 2019)

Another name that suggests our coaches are still recruiting for the last 2018 scholarship-

2018 Coreyoun Rushin- 6'6" small forward who is in his final year at Sunrise Christian Academy in Wichita, Kansas. He is originally from Chicago, and graduated from Westinghouse HS.

Riley Grigsby- 6'6" forward from Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose, California. He's an uncommitted senior who has a couple midmajor offers (North Dakota & Presbyterian). He is a strong physical kid who is projected to have a high upside, and is said to be "One of top unsigned seniors on west coast". He was on an official visit to Oregon State last weekend, and he has also visited St. Mary's on an official visit. He played in a spring showcase event for unsigned seniors in Northern California three weeks ago, and drew a lot of attention for his outstanding play.

Loyola's 3 transfers (Cameron Satterwaite-N. Arizona, Adarius Avery-CentralOK, Tyson Smith-TX-RGV) have all landed elsewhere, as have all the other transfers from Valpo, Evansville & Missouri State

Well, obviously any kid can leave a school or refuse to honor the NLI, like Grundy did, but he was still bound by the NLI for his first year post high school, and he had to pay a pretty severe penalty for not honoring his commitment. When Bradley refused to release him, he had to spend an extra year at a prep school before he could sign with a different school.
