Aleer Leek, Victory Rock (Fla.) Prep, PF, 6-9 (former school)
Leek is the latest known 2014 offer for Nebraska, and he looks to fit right in with the other targets on the Huskers' list. Another tall, long and athletic big from Sudan, Leek just transferred to Victory Rock Prep from IMG Academy in Florida and played on the Team Loaded AAU program out of Virginia. Leek just started to get on the recruiting radar over the summer on the AAU circuit and has been gaining more and more attention from high-major schools, incluidng Nebraska and Minnesota.
Leek holds other offers from schools like Florida International, Detroit and Liberty, along with interest from Southern Illinois, Bradley and Duquesne. However, that was his list going into the summer, and I'm told his stock has elevated into a sure high-major prospect, especially with the number of big men falling off the board by the day leading up to the fall signing period. Look for Leek to make one of his official visits to Nebraska sometime in the coming weeks, as I'm told the Huskers are solidly in his top-three schools at this point.
