A Wyoming native, Jeremy Cox, who is currently an assistant at South Florida, is lobbying through the public media to be considered for an interview for the open head coaching job at University of Wyoming. Wyoming is also using Parker Executive Search. Cox says he has not had much contact from them yet. Is this a similar situation to the Dane Fife publicity?

He announced yesterday that his son, a high school senior basketball player in Texas, would be attending Oklahoma and plans to walk on to the basketball team. A little unusual if he doesn't even know who the coach will be.
