2009 BU commitment- Jordan Prosser

As much as the Local Media would love to get this out, (and trust me on this one, we do) there simply isn't enough solid proof yet. If anyone knows Prosser or family the fastest way to clear this up is to get him on the phone with the Star, or one of the local stations.

The delay on the media story is probably because he didn't commit until about 10pm last night as reports say and the media is likely waiting on a statement from Coach Les. Also it took the Peoria media about 9-10 hours to break the initial report on the DQ fire incident and Ruffins arrest. Both of those incidents occurred overnight on a Saturday. So more than likely something will appear in the news later this afternoon/evening.

Wow.....this is BIG IMO.....I have wanted JP to come to BU from the start.....this is really exciting and should help land some more recruits! WELCOME to BU JP!

I like the size listings on the scholarship grid. I don't post often but this makes me very excited about the future. The frontline is shaping up to be the best I can ever recall.... at least from a recruiting perspective. We'll see how these talented recruits deliver.

Welcome JP. You will be greatly appreciated by bradley fans and supported throughout your career like very few other places! You made a great choice.

I don't believe the coaching staff can comment on JP's commitment at this time. I think there needs to be a signed letter of intent before Coach Les can make any public statement. That won't happen until the next signing period in November.

Any public comment will have to come from Jordan or someone in his camp.

I said this before that Prosser will really be happy to play for BU as he will be another local talent that should have a good following and his family will be able to see him play most of his games; this is a good win for both Jordan and Bradley. His coach at Eureka is a great person and hopefully I will get to talk to him again at our home games.

Has anyone seen Prosser play? I see he was offered by major conference schools... Can he play "D" at that level?

This squares with the timing he gave Rivals: "I kind of want to decide sometime in early August if I can." It's also been my experience that a thread like this wouldn't normally still be up if some of our more inside-the-circle-of-trust mods hadn't already heard something positive. Or am I just hoping too hard?

If true, I'm happy for Jordan and Bradley. BU never backed down, even when the bigger schools came a-callin'. Good for JL and EB that their persistence paid off. Get the kid draining threes to add to his powerful inside game, and you've got a star here in Peoria.

We wanted big and that is what we are getting. No more small ball after this year! I hope JL knows how to rotate the big guys to keep them happy. There should be plenty of depth to have these guys bang on each other during practice. Welcome JP to the BU family! Imagine if JL picks up that pure shooter. We are pretty set everywhere else for the immediate future.

I'd say we will be looking for another pure center and a point guard for the following year.

JL you have out done yourself and great work and congratulation to you and your staff.

No more small ball after this year! Wrong! It starts this year!
7', 6'10, 2-6'9s, 6'7 and 2-6'5s These guys aren't going to sit, this is how we are going to win the MVC this year!
