2 MVC games Sunday 1/31

anyone have an idea why Carlton Fay seemingly is doing poorly?
Just 2-7, 25 pts, 1 rebound, and didn't to the FT line even one time!
He's averging only only 3 rpg in conference play...
And CLo played one of his walk ons...Nate Mitchell

I watched the game between SIU and Wichita State last night.
Carlton Fay's main purpose on offense seems to be to set high pick after high pick, then stand around the 3-point line and be available for a kick-out three pointer if needed. That was mostly his role as a freshman (when he averaged 2.4 ppg and 1.8 rpg), but last year, as a soph, he was much more involved offensively (averaged 10.4/4.6), and did more posting up. But with Booker and Teague emerging, Fay's averages have fallen off as the season progresses.
