2025 and beyond recruits

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but he committed to North Dakota State yesterday.

It seems like the last 2 or 3 years BU and North Dakota State have been after some of the same players and we have been on the losing end of that recruiting war. Maybe I'm just thinking that....can't remember completely. lol

Jacksen Moni-a 6'10" forward who just finished his junior season at D2 Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He averaged 21.3 ppg and 8.1 rpg. He also averaged 3.5 assists per game and shot 32.9% from three.

Per the sequence above and egib's post, once Corey Thomas committed, Bradley was no longer pursuing Jacksen Moni.
Corey Thomas was our coaches' preferred big man target. - https://www.bradleyfans.com/forum/s...mitment-from-corey-thomas?p=519615#post519615

I agree. Balances the classes better

seems to me that in the portal era, it just isn't any longer all that important to balance the classes. If you do get a talented freshman who quickly becomes a star, then you know he's going to be lured away. But then also - all the teams that do really well are those teams that are kind of IMBALANCED
and are senior & junior-heavy...
The teams with the most 24 & 25 years olds tends to be the team to beat in every mid-major conference.

Yoda beat me to the punch. I agree with this . Class balance doesn't matter because kids leave, experience and chemistry do.

Correct me if I am wrong.. But Zhang visited and told the staff he was committed but did not sign any paperwork. Then visited SLU the next day and committed to the Billikens.

This is true.... heard from a source who was there.

More portal players that we've learned Bradley has contacted-

Nate Santos- 6'7" sophomore forward at the University of Pittsburgh. He is originally from Geneva, Illinois and graduated from Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, Conn. in the class of 2021 as a 3-star recruit. He was rated as high as the [NODE="73"]Patrick Beverley[/NODE] player in his class nationally, before suffering a torn ACL his sophomore season. At Pitt, he has played mostly off the bench in the last 2 seasons. he averaged 12.8 minutes per game as a freshman and 2.8 ppg, and this past year as a sophomore, his playing time dropped to 7.3 mpg and scoring dropped to 1.6 ppg.
Yesterday, he entered the transfer portal. - https://pittsburghsportsnow.com/2023/04/04/pitt-forward-nate-santos-enters-transfer-portal/

That quote above on Nate Santos was from 2023 and now Nate Santos has once again entered the transfer portal - for 2024.
He played this past year at Dayton, avg 11.7 ppg
I suspect Bradley will reach out to him again, but I’m sure he’s looking to go to a P-6 school

....two recruits with current or past local connections were at the scrimmage-

2024 Dekwon Brown- https://www.verbalcommits.com/players/dekwon-brown

One-time Bradley 2024 recruit Dekwon Brown played for Peoria Central his junior year, and transferred and played at Skyline Prep in Arizona this past year as a senior. He visited Bradley a couple times, including for the Red-White scrimmage last October.
He is still uncommitted, but posted on twitter that he will announce his commitment tomorrow - https://twitter.com/DekwonBrown/status/1784755311401648635

He would be a good one to get out of high school. Any idea on what are chances are of getting him?

Bradley was no longer recruiting Dekwon Brown.
He just announced his commitment to Seward County Community College in Kansas.

6'7" wing Diogo Seixas of 202 Sports Academy in Sarasota, FL, was a 2023 Bradley recruit. He is originally from Portugal. Coach Wardle visited him in Florida. Today, he committed to San Jose State.

Diogo Seixas is a freshman at San Jose State who just entered the portal. He was a 2023 recruit from Portugal that Coach Wardle liked and visited at a prep school in Florida. And he held a scholarship offer from Bradley, among other schools (including Indiana State and Drake) before he committed to San Jose State. He played in 28 games and started 7 at SJSU as a freshman, and averaged 3.5 ppg.
