Assuming we get by our first round game which I think we will do, playing Drake to me will be a dream come true. They beat us last year in the title game. Let's return the favor this year. The saying goes it is hard to beat a team three times. Hope that holds true. We can beat the Dogs. Play as close as possible 40 minutes of good basketball and I like our chances. Assuming the trees make it to Sunday, also like our chances against them. Will not be easy, but it can be done. Let's get it done.:mad:
 
I also hope that Bradley faces Drake this coming Saturday...... BUT I AM SICK AND TIRED OF PLAYING "CATCH UP BALL" - down by 15 or 17 - each time we play Drake. Way to many turn overs, way to many bad shots, poor execution, poor judgements - Bradley has played much better games.this season. Here's to a much better start. Friday will provide all of us a early indication as to how ready Bradley is. Southern Illinois does not like Bradley - especially after their latest game - sooooo this tournament starting with Bradley's first game - will be more than interesting. GO BRAVES !!!!

Hope our players are not looking ahead to the semi"s because SIU will not be an easy game. I look for the winner of Belmont-UNI game to be a huge hurdle for Ind.St. to get by in order to reach the championship game.

AGREED on both points!

Stay focused and hungry and should be able to get past the Salukis for the 3rd time. Would be extremely disappointing for BU (and for SIU) to lose on Friday night.
 
Of secondary importance to this game (with our Primary being staying alive for the Auto bid) is a win would give us a good shot at the NIT.
