Marquise Kennedy had zero offers until just the past couple months after he had some nice games on this summer's AAU circuit-

There is a reason he dropped off Bradley's and Wichita State's recruiting list, as well as Florida State, Tulsa, and the several other schools that offered him. Most of the schools that offered him targeted other point guards. Even ISU got their point guard D.J. Horne, a much more under-the-radar kid, and was no longer interested.
We'll have to wait to see how it all works out, but Bradley got the point guard they wanted and had rated higher.
 
regardless- it is just another hit that ISU takes from their old coach...
seems Porter Moser has been sticking it to his old school time & time again...

ISU will probably target a juco point guard now as I am sure Muller isn't pencilling in DJ Horne as starting PG yet....
- or else they will go into 2019 after Keyshawn Evans & Yarbrough are gone, with virtually nobody experienced they can rely on to play point guard.
Last year they took a grad transfer Jerron Martin but that was a bad move, he was a chemistry wrecker who thought he should start so he had to be cut loose.
In that stretch in early January when Keyshawn Evans' knee was troubling him, he was forced to either play 30 minutes limping or sit out
- either way, ISU lost 5 of their 7 games in that stretch.
Or maybe Muller will jump ship to any other open job that gets offered next spring so he won't care...

A new name Bradley is following-

2019 Nathan Johnson- a 6'7" forward playing a post-grad year this season at Sunrise Christian Academy near Wichita, Kansas. He is originally from Adel, Iowa, and attended Waukee High School (near Des Moines) prior prep school. Scouting reports say he is a very good shooter and the year of prep school will benefit him-

in the very brief report they have, the PJStar claims he will take a scholarship in 2019-20 and so that leaves us with only one remaining...

"Bradley currently has one scholarship remaining to give for the 2019-20 season."

I believe they are wrong

here's a much more thorough article from Quad Cities - but they still say he will "sign during the November signing period"

He will not sign this fall. That is not accurate. He will reclassify as a class of 2020 and spend a year at a prep school.

Dave Reynolds has a new article this morning that confirms what only we reported yesterday-

"Bradley received its third verbal commitment this month Wednesday when 6-foot-2 guard Jamir Price of Rock Island High School gave his pledge to the school.
Price, a senior, is expected to attend a prep school next season and isn’t planning to enroll at BU until 2020."

So Bradley still has 2 scholarships to use for 2019.

yeah - that is a re-do of the brief article from yesterday that was written by someone else - I think, Wes Huett but that brief column is no longer available

now Dave corrects the error and says
"Bradley currently has two scholarships remaining to give for the 2019-20 season."
