when it comes to assessing JL's career, I have a different opinion. I will just leave at that because it won't do any good to get into it with you. That also leads to a differing opinion when looking at geno ford's past experience and whether that qualifies as a 'great coach'.
When Mike Cross said they were going to find a "great coach" he didn't provide an exact definition in his mind of what that means--we are all left to our own interpretations on that. I have mine. You have yours.
welcome to the board alice, I am sure if you found us then your a fan, and although we may not agree, your opnion is noted, don't let anyone scare you off, some people think their opinion only matters on this board.

for the 11th time -- I ask for an example -- just ONE of what keeps getting described as bashing -- haven't seen one yet...must be imaginary
though i'm a new member, i've been reading this site for a long time now. i've seen plenty of negative/bashing comments about bu admins on here but they have all been deleted--otherwise i would provide them to you.
Jim Les was fired, he's gone and not coming back. Continuing to bash him doesn't seem to be very productive. The administration is still here, making decisions every day. I don't see anything wrong with being critical of the administration if you disagree with some of what they are doing.

hmm......interesting because others constantly whine because those anti-admin posts are supposedly all allowed to stay up ..
so which is it?? Kinda sounds a bit contradictory.

i wasn't claiming they were allowed to stay up. you asked for examples and I told you what i know--they have been taken down. which i guess is a credit to the people running this site.
What difference does it make? We were all new on this board once. Don't have to agree with every poster. I know I don't and Lord knows many posters don't always agree with me. The main thing is we are all mostly Braves fans and most of us want the Admin, if we agree with them or not over the JL firing, to hire the best coach possible to get the Braves back to the winning ways we are all accustomed to.
I wish everyone would just quit posting anything about Jim Les because he is no longer here , no reason to praise or bash him any longer, lets just say he gave everything he had and it did not work out.
