With SIU's loss at home, to a previouisly 1 win Charlotte team, The Valley is sure beginning to look like a 1 bid league.
With WE, we would of had a real shot to be that 1 team.
If the guy, we are not aloud to talk about, comes and is 1/2 as good as people say he is, we still have a shot.
Hopefully the Jays beat St. Joes and gives the Valley a little love today.
As of now I would say it is between ISU (red), The Jays, and The Braves for THE BID!
 
If we are any good at all this year I think we have a shot for our first Valley title in a long time. Not going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination, but it sure would be nice to capitalize on what appears to be a down year for the conference.
 
I guess the good news was that only 5000 saw the game in Carbondale

Looks like the 3 veterans (Boyle, Fay, Mullins) did OK. The super 5 freshmen (Booker, Hare, Bocot, Dillard, Roundtree) combined for a total of 10 points, and 8 rebounds among the 5 of them. Charlie Coley by himself had 9 points, 5 rebounds.

This game was a huge blowout before most fans sat down. Indiana State got only 17 points, and 14 turnovers out of their starting lineup. Former BU and SIU recruit Kyle Kuric got his frist start (he had only appeared in 1 previous game for 6 min), played 18 minutes, and had 9 points with 3-4 from three.
