What a terrible day of basketball. Aside from Belmont's near upset, it was one of the most uneventful tournament days I can remember...since last year's all-chalk tournament. Well, the committee reaps what they sow.

Kentucky-Marquette was an okay game. The rest of it was terrible.
I agree....the committee does reap what its sows but also a lot of teams just plain stunk it up tonight. Kent St., Winthrop especially as well as George Mason and Oral Bobs were just putrid and they have no one to blame but themselves.

I couldn't agree more. I couldn't care less about watching Kansas St. and USC. This is what we watch all year!
And of course I am biased, but I am not sure these players care any more about these games than they do a regular season game. I was amazed at the lack of judgment and the "sense of urgency" that they played with. It was careless, bad, basketball, period.
Gee, what happened to the magic and the charm of the first two rounds of the NCAA?
