Tulsa's Coach

Something fishy may be going on at Missouri, and apparently he was desperate to get out.

He can't seem to keep kids there and also their attendance always seems brutal without knowing the numbers.

Reminds me of Greg McDermott leaving Iowa St for Creighton (to a lesser extent). I think GM knew he was on his way out at ISU, either the year he left, or the year after they didn't turn it around. Seems like the fans and admins were losing faith in Haith (yes- pun intended) and he decided to jump ship before getting canned. My friends that are Mizzou fans don't have high hopes on next year...

This move was a head scratcher so I'm sure he's getting out before the hammer drops on Missou.
He was in a position to be nearly guaranteed a consistent 3rd place finish in the SEC each year behind only Kentucky and Florida.

Whenever i tuned into an OOC game on FSMidwest, people in the lower rows essentially had the section to themselves. Attendance was pretty rough, and the on-court product didn't help.

Haith caught lightning in a bottle with the squad a few years back, and he still couldn't get past the first round!

Honestly, this was an intelligent move by him though. Less pressure, weaker conference, and a squad that just made the tournament. I did find it funny, however, that Miami jumped to a top 5 program during the 2012-13 season AFTER he left.
