NCAA signing date

There is no longer a National Letter of Intent for athletes to sign, but the NCAA still has signing periods, in which the athlete can sign scholarship agreements or NIL contracts.
The early signing period was Nov. 12-Nov. 19, 2025. Race Kowalczyk and Ben Thornbrue signed last fall during the early signing period.

Noah Williams of Barton County CC is verbally committed and is expected to sign with Bradley in the upcoming spring period, which starts April 15.
With only 6 current players potentially returning (Timo, DRich, Zobs, Gus, Gustavo, and Jackson). Bradley could have as many as 6 more players sign if all 15 scholarships are filled.

So the players you mentioned are officially coming back? Are they going to make an announcement? Lots of players going on social media with announcements on them returning, or leaving. Why are we carrying a walk-on who counts against our scholarships? Enlighten me

there is nobody "officially coming back" at this point-
the ones who have not graduated or gone in the portal have yet to declare their intentions.

This is a good start. When we add some of the players already committed plus 4 others we will be ok.
I'm not ready to say I think Bradley can contend for the top 4 or 5 next year, but this is a good start. And I feel confident that the coaches will fill the other scholarships with quality recruits and transfers.

Question, who will be the starting point guard? And also do we have a big guy ready to play?It seems like we have several guards. Those that know more about the players so far, would like your opinion.

someone tell Coach Wardle that a backup point guard, a prototypical Brian Wardle player - just entered the portal from Marquette...
Didn't get a lot of playing time at Marquette - he's just 5-10, but his numbers are solid...
in just 20 min per game- 6.3 ppg, 4 assists, 33% 3-pt shooting - still has 2 season eligibility due to 2 seasons lost to injury.

Nobody knows, not even the coaches.

Ben Thornbrue and Noah Williams will be ready to play. Will they be starters next year? Nobody knows.
Gustavo Guimaraes should be ready to contribute at the "5" spot. But will he be ready to be a starter or a 20-25 minute player? Nobody knows.

I am beginning to sound like Nate Bargatze.

Thanks Coach, can always count on an honest opinion from you.I know several of you follow closer than I do but love this platform.

Your questions are great. I suspect the coaches are hoping to recruit enough talented transfers that some of then will be among next year's starters. It's too early to know if the holdover players will vie for starting positions or playing time. That is what is going to make these next couple months interesting.

There are many guys out there that meet our needs, just need to secure at least 3 good ones that can contribute immediately. I think a center and point guard is really important, I really like the Ill. Wesleyan player. Nazir Allen would also be good fit. Hoping by sometime next week or sooner we get a few more commitments. The sooner the better as it would mean we are getting targeted players.

Thornbrue and Williams are quality players that should be able to contribute next year

let's hope that the guys we get this spring don't wimp out over the summer and bolt when they find out
they have to work hard to earn playing time...
