So far have not heard any mention of any type of injury with practices players have gone through so far. Sure there are your normal bumps and bruises. Hope this good luck continues and have any injury that will have players miss time. Season is fast approaching and let's hope BU can make a Conference title run. Can't wait until the season starts.
 
From my recollection the injuries we've sustained as a program since 2022 or so have been minimal and our depth has carried us through any small bumps in the road.
Ja'Shon sustained 2-3 concussions for which he missed several games between his sophomore and senior seasons, but only a few (I think) in the MVC championship season.
Ville was injured right b4 the MVC championship game in '23 when we got hammered by Drake...not sure his presence would have mattered much.
0-Show (Burch) missed 1/3 of the season last year due to injury and illness, but we didn't lose a beat in his absence.
Hannah's injury in the G Mason game proved to be the most costly one in the past few seasons.
We likely reach the championship game of the NIT had that not happened.

Seems we talked more about injuries for BU basketball a lot more between 2008 and 2020, and it's been the least worrisome under the Coach Wardle era than any other I can recall since Coach Mo. Perhaps a credit to the Strength and Conditioning Coach?

I don't see why BU wouldn't be one of 3-4 teams who make a run this season and I don't think anyone is better on paper than us right now.
May take 8-10 games to gel with a lot of new faces and a few freshman who may turn out to be stars in their career.
 
This could be a season where 3 or 4, and maybe more, teams have a chance to stay in contention until late February. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see anyone running away with the lead. But then I didn't see Drake becoming as dominant as they were last year. That was because they had so many new players and a new coach, and nobody knew what they were capable of. Bradley did well to stay within 2 games of them in 2nd place, but what happened at Drake was unique, and I doubt it can happen again. On paper, it looks like Drake, UNI, Murray State, Bradley, and maybe SIU and Belmont can be very strong. There are too many unknowns to know.
 
I thought Murray was the favorite with all thier studs coming in? It will be critical to win some of the early valley games, before the other teams are gelled.
