Long time central IL baseball coach and the Heartland Community College baseball coach & AD Nate Metzger is being forced out amid some very weird circumstances...

They guy has a TREMENDOUS record as a baseball coach - just read the stories - so this is inexplicable at this point...
we could use this caliber of expertise..

t---Boy are you right! BU should drop, or transfer Elvis ASAP and go after Nate Metzger. We need a BIG change in our baseball program. The Presidents hand picked guy just doesn't cut it and if she and Cross have any empathy at all for BU Athletics, they need to take action quickly while we have the possible opportunity to hire a great coach and get the Baseball Program back on track.

as a followup to this story about Nate Metzger...there was such an uproar of protest to eliminate the AD petition that Heartland has now backed down...
it shows that people with common sense can overrule bureaucrats..
