Duke Deen signs with pro team in Denmark

Duke is excited to watch the Braves this coming season. Since he will be playing for the Bakken Bears in Denmark, he'll have to stay up quite late to watch most Bradley games live. They are 7 hours ahead of the Central Time Zone, so most of Bradley's games will not start until around 7 am his time. :)

Denmark is 7 hours ahead of us time-wise, so if Bradley's game starts at 7pm, he would have to be up watching at 2am

Yeah, that's what I intended to post. But since most will be archived on ESPN+, he can still watch them at any time he wants.

Yesssir - the beauty of ESPN replay!!!
75% of the BU games I watch on replay without knowing the final score...makes for a tense afternoon/evening WHILE the actual game is being played. ;)

Duke Deen's Danish pro team is playing his first game with the Bakken Bears right now..
I cannot find a streaming site, but here's the live scoreboard
Bakken leads 23-15 in the 1st quarter

update- Bakken blowing them out 58-36 at half

and I did find a live stat site...
in the 1st half Duke has 3pts, 4reb, 5asst, & has thebest +/- stat of anyone, 23, playing only 9:55 of the 20min 1st half
{Christian Davis' Finnish team plays tomorrow, Zek's Austrian team plays next week)

Bakken ended up winning 115-64....
Duke played just 21 minutes and had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists, 2 steals, and just 1 turnover.
Nice game overall.

Duke's full stat line for his first pro game was pretty impressive- 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 for 3 from 2-point, 3-7 from three point (6-10 overall), and his +/- was the best on the team at +40. He had 2 steals and only 1 turnover in 22 minutes of playing time. His player performance rating was 25, by far the best on either team-

Playing just 20 minutes off the bench in his very first professional game- Duke Deen was selected as
PLAYER OF THE GAME (Click on thumbnail photo below)

Bakken played again today, and beat Kutaisi (the top team in Georgia and winner of last season's Georgia Superleague), 84-81
(The game was not part of their Danish league schedule, but the first round of qualifiers for the Eurobasket Champions League)
Duke Deen started, played 27 minutes, hit 3-7 from 3pt, scored 11 pts, 4 reb, 5 assists, 1 steal
Duke's averages in two games, 13ppg, 5.5 rpg, 6 apg, 6-14 (43%) from 3-pt, and just 1 TO/game.

They play another Champions League game tomorrow against LUUK VAN BREE's team, Den Bosch from the Netherlands,
Den Bosch won today over Trepca (one of the top teams from Kosovo who went 19-9 last season), 80-68, Van Bree had 8 pts, 5 reb, 2 asst.

If you search "Basketball Champions League" on YouTube you should find their channel. It looks like they stream live and you can watch recorded games. I don't see anything about having to pay. HD video as well.

Yes, the game is streaming for free
Duke is #21 in black, Luuk is #20 in white.
Bakken trails 25-18 at the end of the first quarter.
Bakkan shot 35% in the 1st qtr, Den Bosch shot 64%.
The score & the clock that are displayed on the screen are inaccurate.

Update-
Bakken 44 - Den Bosch 42 at half

a Duke 3-pointer with 5 min to go then - Duke puts Bakken up by one with 2 minutes to go,
then he comes up with a loose ball with a minute to go..... and Bakken holds on to win.
Bakken wins 82-77
Duke 11 pts, 3 reb, 4 asst
Bakken plays for the Championship Thursday at noon local time, 4am Central Time against
Patrioti Levice, a team from Slovakia that has Will Carius- former WIU Leatherneck.

Incredible game and an awesome performance by Duke.
Bakken led most of the game but it stayed extremely close right to the end & went to OT.
But with Bakken still holding a 98-97 lead with 1 second left in OT, Will Carius nailed a wild, off balance, long, fadeaway hail-Mary 3-pointer for Patrioti Levice to win the game.
Scroll to 2:33:00 to see the final shot

Duke Deen had 25 pts, was 6-11 from 3-pt, 6 reb, 1 asst, 1 steal

Here's a guy on X with a clip of that final shot- LINK
