then all of a sudden we are NOT following him and all his interviews the past 3-4 months say he's narrowed his list and is NOT considering Bradley .....
......why did we drop off him for the better part of the last 4 months?

apparently we were "in on him" BEFORE his junior year in high school - and even WELL BEFORE Dayton, Rhode Island, and Colorado State were even "in on him"..
it's hard to imagine you'd have expected us to be offering him even before their junior year - at a time that NOBODY else was offering him except maybe UIC...

Just cause u call him once a week does not mean you are actively pursuing him. If that's the case then BU is recruiting 200 kids. Chin was actively recruiting him and in contact daily with Pollard. Dayton probably ends up being the destination for him. They recruit Chicago pretty good, but I have no doubt Bradley will be a hot spot soon.

Gerry ,I also think we finally have the right people in place to get us where this once proud program needs to be. I am excited by what Chin has meant to our recruiting in the very short time he's been here.

but one thing I find watching the Dayton board is that they have a very united, enthusiastic fan base...this probably is quite visible to the kids who visit there, especially their top recruiting targets...

but here we need to work on that - when all those kids showed up at our Red-White and witnessed nearly empty stands - it sure doesn't work in our favor...
Example - their "Red & Blue" preseason scrimmage (they have this year's version coming up tonight) routinely draws several thousand -
just look at the photo from last year's "Red & Blue" intrasquad scrimmage..

we can beat a LOT of schools with our attendance & fans base but we fall a bit behind Dayton - who have beaten BU in home attendance every year since the 80's
- and it didn't always used to be that way... I hope we keep that in mind when all the changes appear to be alienating a certain segment of the fans base - that even KW seems to see this.....
