Bradley is entertaining Jashon Henry, a 2018 recruit, on a visit starting today.

We originally had information posted about Jashon Henry way back in November, 2017-

And a more recent update on him April 27, 2018-

2018 Ja'Shon Henry (also sometimes spelled Jashon Henry)- 6'5" wing player from Athol Murray College of Notre Dame prep school in the somewhat remote city of Saskatoon, in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. He currently has an offer from St. Bonaventure.

Jashon Henry is one of several 2018 recruits that Bradley is still in contact with. He remains uncommitted, and is one of the better 2018 recruits still available.
He had a monster senior season and was named the Canadian National Preparatory Association’s Most Valuable Player, the top award for a prep player in Canada. He averaged 28.1 point, 7.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game contest. His 28.1 ppg scoring average was by far the highest average in all of Canada.

He recently was invited to appear in a couple of Canadian prep All Star games, the Signature All-Canadian Showcase and the BioSteel All-Canadian games, along with all the top players in Canada. The Signature All-Canadian Showcase is a new event that held its inaugural event in April.

Jashon Henry was the first player from Saskatchewan to ever appear in either of the games.

Here are a couple fairly recent highlight videos-

Jashon Henry was at Alexander??™s with the coaching staff, Dr. Reynolds, Ari Boya & Koch Bar. Will post pics tomorrow.

Thanks BU freak - if we land this stud (reminds me a lot of James Gillingham!), you get the BU-litzer Prize for your reporting...

Hope We Sign Henry

Hope We Sign Henry

When I saw the videos of Jashon Henry, I thought that this kid is a special player. He has a huge motor and some great moves for a small wing. I hope we can land him!

Signing Jashon Henry would certainly cap off a very good recruiting season. He may not be the 6'8"" big man we would like, but he certainly plays strong. He is the type of player that could help us. Hope that we are able to get him.

His other offer- St. Bonaventure is also a place a lot of import guys land...but they play in front of 4000 in a good year compared to we draw 8,000-10,000 in GOOD years.

100% right on!

We would all like that 6'8" guy like Mitchell Andersen, but Jashon Henry is 2" taller than Hersey Hawkins. Who knows...great players come in all sizes. I hope we sign Jashon because IMO he is special.

This is no surprise. I heard he loved Bradley!

Ja’Shon Henry Completes Bradley Recruiting Class

Henry completes the four-man Bradley recruiting class as he joins junior transfer Chudier Bile and freshmen Ari Boya and Armon Brummett as the newest Braves.

"This recruiting class, physically and athletically, is the most gifted my staff and I have signed at Bradley," Wardle said. "Their length, explosiveness and versatility complements our returning players really well. They all have areas that they need to improve in, but if they are committed to our program standards and expectations, it is going to be a fun ride!"

Fantastic!!!

This coaching staff has clearly demonstrated their ability to find talent that other schools have not found. The pleasant problem facing the coaching staff this fall is how to get playing time for a very talented group of players. If the ticket office can get the word out about the quality of this years team we should see a significant increase in season ticket sales. We could also be looking at a 24-25 games won season.

I agree. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that we'll see one of the newcomers redshirt... probably one of the freshmen.
