Wisconsin upsets #2 Indiana in Bloomington

some people (message board talk) are making a big deal out of IU's Tom Crean racing by Wisconsin's Bo Ryan and not really shaking hands...
they are of the opinion there's a feud between Crean & Ryan just as the same argument has been made that Crean hates Thad Matta ..

it makes for good water cooler fodder - and there may be some truth....
but I have to think if you lose a tight game and think the refs gave the game to your opponent - then you're not in much of a mood to chit-chat with anyone...

I'll have to watch this later. Sounds interesting.

It looks like Wisconsin may be the seventh team in the Big Dance out of the Big Ten. But Illinois better start winning more games pretty quickly, despite their great wins over Ohio State and Gonzaga.
 
there's another story in the Big Ten - apparently an altercation between players of the Michigan State basketball team..

edit - players now being named as - Branden Dawson and Adreian Payne -
I recall one time after a practice when Dick Versace was coach - he was talking about how two of his players got into a fistfight over some issue in the middle of some drills - and he was actually quite pleased about the incident and LIKED that his players were getting mean & competitive...
