Why we can win the conference tournament

Here's a new observation I came across this morning. If Bradley can beat SIU next week, it will be the first time in Jim Les' career and first time since the 2000-01 season that Bradley will have beaten every MVC team in the regular season.

It makes watching film a lot easier when you can cue up a taped win over any and every single team in the conference.

I would like to think we are the team to beat in St louis. I am trying to convince myself we are the team to beat. If we can pull it off in Omaha we will be and we might just be the best team anyway. For us the team to beat will be our rival ISU. To me, if we meet, it will be the championship game. I'm starting to get a little anxious, go Braves.

Unless we can get productive minutes from TCS and if we can get anything at all out of Warren in reference to minutes I have no idea how we have enough bodies to win 3 games in what could essentially be less then 48 hours.

To me if we stay out of the 3-6 we might have a chance with limited bodies but then you probably get Creighton for a 3rd time in 3 weeks.

Ive been going to the Valley tourney since before it moved to STL and nearly every year the overall winner of the tourney survives, not really wins it. They though have some depth especially at the guard position.

This is why I want to ask a question about the upcoming UWM game on Saturday. With the short turnaround time for the SIU game on Tuesday and how much more important that game is to us then the UWM game is, do we play a lot more of TCS and maybe even a much larger combination of bigs essentially to give a rest completely to Ruffin and JC?

I know JL wants to win every game but this game means nothing and it makes more sense to play a lot of players lots of minutes then to limit the number of players and have those who play play high minutes.
