What's goin on in the NIT?

Not only are 1 seeds getting beat at home and teams that have no business of making tournaments like this are doing so, but in two separate games, players were ejected for pulling a Ric Flair and hitting guys with low blows...

Btw ESPN, they were not hit in the groin...

Anyone see these lowlights?

The best and worst statement was the anchor who talked about the Tech guy now singing an octave higher

ESPN probably said that to peak interest and improve ratings.

If things go according to the craziness of the NIT this year, ISU (red) will win and WSU will lose. Hope it's an all-win night for the MVC!

personally I like watching these games where teams that struggled, then fell short and were left out of NCAA, finally have one last crack at looking good and accomplishing something memorable...
That's what I loved about the Jacksonville upset of Arizona State

I don't see that happening...

Not many win in Dayton, and most get slaughtered, just ask Xavier...

Wichita does NOT lose at home, and certainly not to Nevada...

Stranger things have happened though as Jacksonville took out Arizona State last night....

That being said, anyone else question the seed Wichita got with their home drawing power...? I mean if the NIT is all about the money, why not make Wichita a 1 or 2?!

Just the fact that UNC and UConn are in it make it a joke!

Me too. It's too bad though that either of the CAA teams couldn't finish the job against the two traditional NCAA powers UConn and UNC. But good for both for taking these teams to the limit. I don't see UConn or UNC going too much further, but I can't help to think that both of these teams got the advantage of most of the ref calls. In a close game at home against mid-majors, the BCS teams will benefit from the refs probably at least 80% of the time. An unfortunate fact of life, but true.

I think ISU (red) will at least make it close.
One last hoorah for seniors Osiris, Lloyd, and Dinma.
They are probably hungry to get 1 postseason tourney win in their redbird careers.

They may be hungry for a win or a steak dinner for all I care, but if Dayton comes like they normally do at home, it won't be close!

Vegas loves Dayton - 7 1/2

And WSU - 8

I like ISU with those points, not to win but to cover. WSU might be on a mission, and 8 is an ok number to throw at Nevada.

MSU is -9 /12 home to Middle Tennessee St.

Illinois is -6 1/2 at Stony Brook... hard to walk away from a home dog and at that many points.

I think my favorite play today is Oregon St giving 7 1/2 to Boston U. BU is traveling a long way, the flight is probably worth 7-10 just on the length of travel.

I'd take Siena and 6 1/2 points, but unfortunately, it's Stony Brook.:?

Corrected. Regardless of my typing, I still think, that many points, in what will be a wild environment, versus a maybe or maybe not motivated Illinois team is a good play.

Illinois is still the same team who lost what their last 5-7 and yes the did play OSU well on Saturday but they let a real bad, that day, Wisconsin team hang around.

I also really like the points in the Wisconsin v Wofford is getting +10. FYI Bodog has taken off the board the Siena v Purdue game.

Shoot.

I really, really wanted to lose to both

Bradley

and

ISU

in the same year.

No - you don't wanna lose to ISU ever Bert. Those fans would be merciless and classless. ;)

I'm glad UIUC covered. :D

Hey - you're not in the NCAA, but you're in a tourney. Might as well win the dang thing. Good luck to 'em for you Bert. ;)
